Carl can turn his hand to many electronic genres, but ventures wider too, and for this latest album he's gone jazz-funk.

Carl explains:
"In the summer of 2019 I joined a band comprised of my friends called "Discharge Lounge". We had this song called Tough Decisions which was great to play out. The band disbanded, and during the lockdown in the UK I got thinking about what a tragedy it was that this track was never recorded, so I decided to make a version myself. It was so enjoyable to make that I decided to expand upon it a little bit. Then a bit more. And now it's a whole nother thing.

I have come into contact with so many wonderful funky peeps over the years, and the ones who've made me make this kind of stuff are dear Freya, DJ Tide and the Zappanale bus crew, and basically everyone I've ever met there. Also! Resolution 88, Mokaad, and of course J Solstice of Discharge Lounge who came up with the first track."
